Cortijo La Zorra stands in its own 7 hectares of almond and olive trees and nestles in the hills beneath the Sierra del Viento ( Mountain of the Wind). Close by are the picturesque towns of Velez Rubio with its colourful market and Velez Blanco with its Moorish fort and breath-taking views of the mountain and national park.  

A short distance away is the coastal resort of Aquilas. Sandy beaches stretch from here to old Mojacar, a typical unspoilt Andalucian town of great charm perched on a hill overlooking the sea. Vera Playa, one of the largest naturist beaches of Spain is also reached within 40 minutes.
