| The village of Vera lies several kilometres from
the coast and has several supermarkets and on Saturday
mornings there is the general market on the streets of the old
town. |

fisher village of Garrucha has a fisher market well worth
visiting. |

| On
Fridays is the week market in the streets of old Garrucha. In summer
there is a very charming evening market every night on the
boulevard. In august there also the fair on the pier, which is open
till very late at night. |

Besides
a few large supermarkets there are also many restaurants
amongst other fish restaurants in Garrucha. |
|
|
|
|
A little bit farther down the coast you will find
a charming village, called Mojacar Playa. This little town has
a lot of small restaurants next to and on the beach.
Especially at night there’s a lot to do in Mojacar. There
are a lot of shops of all kinds.
Also there’s a golf
terrain in Mojacar. |

Some
kilometres inland from Mojacar strip you will find the old
picturesque Mojacar village situated on a hilltop. |
|

|
On the terraces on this hilltop you will surely
enjoy your cup of coffee with a marvellous view over the coastline.
On Sunday mornings there’s a charming flea market at the square at
the beginning of the village and on Wednesdays there’s the large
week market on the soccer fields all the way on top off the hill. |

| For daytrips one can make a visit to the Alhambra
at Granada or the old roman remains in the city of Cartagena. |

Also
recommended by us is the old Moorish fort in Velez Blanco or the
beautiful old inner city of Murcia.
Nature
lovers may want to visit the national park of Cabo de Gata or one of
the other national parks in the region.

Children will enjoy a day at the very close
waterslide spark. After four pm you get a reduced price.
